We just released the very best version of WP Recipe Maker up until today: version 10.1.0 Read on for the highlights and a full changelog or update right away!

New “Glacier” Premium Recipe Template

Our previous 10.0.0 release introduced the “Meadow” template, which was free for all. As promised we have more new recipe templates in the pipeline, and with this released we’d love to introduce you to “Glacier”, available to all of our paid customers.

See the template in action on our demo site or in the screenshot below:

As we’re building these new templates through our own Template Editor, we keep adding improvements and new features, making it even more powerful than before.

Bulk add to Roundup Lists

Our WP Recipe Maker > Manage > Recipes page is a very powerful tool for managing all the recipes on your website with lots of filtering and ordering options to get the exact recipes you need. It also has the ability to edit multiple recipes at once by enabling the “Bulk Edit” column after clicking on “Change Columns” at the top.

A brand new bulk edit option we’ve introduced is the “Add to Roundup List” option, where you can select any of the existing roundup lists to bulk add the recipes to:

This way, you can use the powerful filtering options (by taxonomy, date, nutrients, …) of the Manage page to select multiple recipes at once and then bulk add them to your roundup list. Making it as easy as ever to create your roundup lists!

Combined Share Button

There were lots of different ways to share recipes already, but adding all those different options to your recipe card could result in simply too many buttons. We’ve fixed that with a brand new share button that can combine all of the different share options and show them after a click on the button:

The “Share Options Popup” button block can be added to any recipe template in our template editor, where you have full control over the look and feel of the button and the sharing options you want to show.
